# General Rules

## <mark style="color:yellow;">1. Always Stay In Character</mark>&#x20;

Roleplay the character you want to be. Once you enter the city you are automatically roleplaying.<br>

## <mark style="color:yellow;">2. RDM (Random Deathmatch)</mark>

Players are not allowed to kill other players without any legitimate Roleplay or Interaction outside KOS Thus, applies to multiple scenarios

* Revenge RP or intention of killing someone right after the incident is prohibited
* Pretending to be a zombie is a negligence of the player and Players also need to verify first before killing it.

## <mark style="color:yellow;">3. VDM (Vehicular Deathmatch)</mark>

Players with any type of vehicle to runover/kill other people is Prohibited in Neutral thus, will be allowed at;

* VDM is allowed in [Darkzone](/product-docs/map-and-zones/dark-zones.md)

## <mark style="color:yellow;">4. Fear RP or Value of Life</mark>

Players must value their life as if it was their last.

If a player is at a clear disadvantage, the player must comply to your demands

* Players must comply If, you are outnumbered by 3 to 1
* Fear of life doesn't apply in Red zone, Dark zone and Base Raiders (for weekends only)

## <mark style="color:yellow;">5. Valuing Other's Lives</mark>

If a person values their own life, for instance, follows your orders when at gunpoint or surrenders, you may not kill them. If a player is non-cooperative then you do not have to value their life.

## <mark style="color:yellow;">6. Breaking Character</mark>

Players are to act according to their character. Do not go beyond monitors nor Out-of-Character terms

* Game issues should stay in-game, Avoid taking everything personally.
* OOC terms; Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, Twitch and etch.

## <mark style="color:yellow;">7. Meta Gaming</mark>

Players are PROHIBITED to use information that your character did not obtain through in-game/roleplay. Examples:

* Stream sniping
* Giving information through 3rd-party communication apps.
* etch.

## <mark style="color:yellow;">8. Power Gaming</mark>

Abusing game mechanics to gain advantage is PROHIBITED and may result to account suspension. (ie. Abusing powers in reviving someone and etch.)

* Reviving someone with 0 BPM is considered as Power gaming
* Using emotes during a shoot out to avoid being shot or cancelling emotes.
* This is a case to case scenario

## <mark style="color:yellow;">9. NLR (New Life Rule)</mark>

NLR forces players to forget every information or events after respawning.

* NLR Does not apply to people who are doing a base raid and defending the base at Raid days

## <mark style="color:yellow;">10. Cheating or Exploiting</mark>

Using any 3rd-party software to gain an advantage to anyone is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and may result to PERMA BAN or GLOBAL BAN.

* Exploiting Game bugs
* Duplicating items
* Using game-features in unintended ways (eg. using emotes to pass through walls, Animation canceling during shootouts, and etch.)

<mark style="color:yellow;">**THE LAW IS FOR EVERYONE**</mark>\
Players are not entitled to anything. No matter what status you have. Once you broke a rule may result to sanctions.
